Rule 1. Does he eat? What does he eat?
Explanation : If answer of any question is in “yes” or “no” then  make its translation with help of auxiliary verb “do, does, did, is, are, was, were”. But answer is not  “yes” or “no” then we use W/h +auxilliary verb + S + V + Object.  for make translation.
Example: Auxilliary VERB+ Subject + Verb

Note A: In hindi question when verb is like “ता हूँ” then its translation come into Present Indefinite tense and we use do or does according to subject.

If “में”is there before “कैसा” ,” कैसे” then we translate it like. what……like

Caution : if before “कैसा” ,” कैसे”, “में”is not there then we use ”how" for these sentence

Rule iv
“कौन”- “कौन” used for Non living thing  then we use what for  “कौन”  but for living thing we use who

What film have you seen?

Who is in the room?

Note : when we use “कौन”  or “ kis” for the selection between two or more thing then for  “कौन”  or “ kis” we use which

Which is the best boy?
Which city do you live in?
